Retired!

Well, this blog site has run its duration. If you have this site bookmarked as where you go to see the current studio information, it is no more. Our wonderful new PhotoBlog can be seen at www.rowephotography.com. So don't check back here for any more new studio happenings. You won't find any! Go to the PhotoBlog to check out what's going on around here. I appreciate all of you who love to read our blog. Keep up the good work, and feel free to drop me a line about the new site!

Cornhole Day

We went to my brother David's house yesterday to get together for mother's day. We had a cookout and played cornhole. I got my *NEW* cornhole boards custom designed by me and my friend Vern. I designed and layed them out on the computer, and she used her artistic talent to translate that design onto the board. I LOVE them and think they are very girly and trendy!
The photo of the guys is my dad and two brothers and nephew Nolan to show how much he has grown over the winter. My parents are gone all winter down south, and they swear he grew a foot while they were gone! He is now taller than my dad and almost taller than his dad, and he's 12 YEARS OLD!!!! A good time was had by all! It's great to make time to be with the ones you love. Hope you all had a wonderful mother's day!

Dewey

Every small town has a Dewey. Dewey is the guy to go to if you want to know what's going on in town. He oversees every project that goes on in this town. No job is complete until he gives it his stamp of approval.
In this town trains blocking the state route are a fairly common occurrence. Whenever this happens, Dewey hops on his trusted bicycle and comes down to hang out by the tracks. He knows this is happening because he has a radio that he can hear all the train talk with the engineers. He loves trains. He helps out and tells the out-of-towners how to get around the road being blocked. He is always helpful and always has a smile on his face. Keep up the good work, Dewey!

North Ridgeville Baseball League

We did the baseball league on Sunday for North Ridgeville Baseball. They play at Palmer Field. The league doesn't usually do photos, but we have done my nephew Nolan's team every year for them so that they have pictures of their team. This is the photo of Nolan. He is 12 and has grown about six inches since Christmas! He is a halfway decent looking kid! Surprising if you knew what my brother looks like! Only kidding! I also put a sample of the memory mate I custom designed for the league (because I'm crazy!) I think it turned out really well. I hope everyone likes them when they get them! Have a great day! Susan

First Communion

We do one first communion every year. It's at Holy Martyr's church in Medina. It is always fun to go see how cute the kids are all dressed up. And at that age their teeth are always so funny when they smile! Here are the group photos we took today and last week. It's a big group! We're glad they do communion in two days!

Chloe

Chloe is a class of 2009 senior from Elyria High. She came to Rowe Photography for her senior portraits on Tuesday. They are soooo cute! I love her curly hair, and it worked well, since it was kinda rainy misty that day outside. You would never know by looking, because her outdoors were so good!
